Health & Safety

Prepared, not paranoid

Dr. Ines is our on-trip welfare coordinator. Here's what we've set up so nobody has to think about it.

First aid kit

Full kit in the group suite: plasters, antihistamines, rehydration salts, motion-sickness tablets, reef-safe SPF 50. Bring anything specific you personally rely on.

Emergency numbers

Thailand police 191 · Ambulance 1669 · Tourist Police 1155 · Group WhatsApp is pinned on every phone the moment we land.

Local hospital

Bangkok Hospital Phuket (Phuket Town, 20 min from hotel) — 24/7 emergency, English-speaking staff, cashless with most travel insurers.

Travel insurance

Everyone brings their own comprehensive policy covering medical + repatriation. Send the policy number to Nadia by 30 August 2027.

Weather plan

Late October is transition season. If a storm cancels the island cruise (Day 4), we shift to the Krabi excursion the next morning.

Lost person

If separated: return to the hotel lobby. Committee runs a headcount at every group departure and arrival. Buddy system for night outings.
